関連性KIF1C belongs to the kinesin-like protein family, Unc-104 subfamily. It contains one FHA domain and one kinesin-motor domain. It is the motor required for the retrograde transport of Golgi vesicles to the endoplasmic reticulum. KIF1C has a microtubule plus end-directed motility. It is expressed in all tissues examined, with most abundant expression in heart and skeletal muscle.

ab125903 staining KIF1C in Human skin fibroblast cell by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence). Cells were fixed with methanol, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton and blocked with 5% serum for 30 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/200 in PBS + 5% BSA and 0.1% Triton) for 18 hours at 4°C. An Cy2®-conjugated Donkey anti-rabbit IgG polyclonal (1/500) was used as the secondary antibody.
