    Location: Lesser curvature. Diagnosis: Signet-ring cell carcinoma. Stage: II; T3N0M0. Grade: n/a Gross findings: Ulcerative lesion located at the lesser curvature, ill demarcated. Tumor measures 7 cm in diameter. Cut section is firm and white. Paragastric lymph nodes: 6. Microscopic findings: Tissue sections show proliferation of ring cells. Mitotic figures are evident. The neoplastic cells have coarse, irregular nuclei and scanty cytoplasm.The tumor cells form groups and glands and invade the musclaris propria, subserosa, and serosa. Lymph nodes show 0 of 7 positive.

  • 特記事項(精製)Tissue specimens are homogenized in modified RIPA buffer to obtain the soluble proteins, and centrifuged to clarify. The pellet was further extracted with a second buffer to obtain the less soluble protein fraction. The lysate solution may appear turbid at cold temperatures due to insolubility of buffer components. The solution should clear upon warming to room temperature.
