  • ab45422 staining Hormone sensitive lipase in the HeLa cell line from Human cervical cancer by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.5% Triton X-100 in PBS. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/200 in PBS) for 16 hour at 22°C. ab150081 an Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (1/200) polyclonal was used as the secondary antibody. Nuclei were stained with DAPI.MeOH-fixed samples were also evaluated and failed to produce the expected staining pattern.

    Lane 2 : Anti-Hormone sensitive lipase antibody (ab45422) at 1 µg/ml

    All lanes : Human lymph node tissue lysate

    Lysates/proteins at 15 µg per lane.

    Predicted band size: 117 kDa
    Observed band size: 90 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
    Additional bands at: 38 kDa, 86 kDa, 88 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.
