The antibody has been tested against recombinant protein in western blotting, we do not have data regarding recognition of endogenous protein. We suggest K562 and HL-60 cells could be expressing Flt3 ligand.
The antibody was raised against the extracellular domain of the protein, however please note permeabilisation in FACS greatly improves the signal.
A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues within human Flt3 ligand.
IHC: Human tonsil tissue.
WB: recombinant protein
Mouse, Rat: We have preliminary internal testing data to indicate this antibody may not react with these species. Please contact us for more information.

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) - Anti-Flt3 ligand antibody [EP1140Y] (ab52648)This image is courtesy of an anonymous Abreview
Unpurified ab52648 staining Flt3 ligand in Rhesus monkey brain tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-P - paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections). Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 20% serum for 60 minutes at 20°C; antigen retrieval was by heat mediation in a citrate buffer pH6.0. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/100 in 20% Normanl Goat serum in 1x TTBS) for 12 hours at 20°C. A Biotin-conjugated Goat anti-rabbit IgG polyclonal (1/200) was used as the secondary antibody.
