The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 4 µg/ml.
Use a concentration of 2 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 15 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 15 kDa).
機能Lipid transport protein in adipocytes. Binds both long chain fatty acids and retinoic acid. Delivers long-chain fatty acids and retinoic acid to their cognate receptors in the nucleus.
配列類似性Belongs to the calycin superfamily. Fatty-acid binding protein (FABP) family.
ドメインForms a beta-barrel structure that accommodates hydrophobic ligands in its interior.
細胞内局在Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Depending on the nature of the ligand, a conformation change exposes a nuclear localization motif and the protein is transported into the nucleus. Subject to constitutive nuclear export.

ab23693 staining FABP4 (pink) in human adipose-derived stem cells for adipogenesis by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS for 15 minutes and blocked with 10% serum for 1 hour at 37°C. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/200) for 16 hours at 4°C. An Alexa Fluor® 647-conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG polyclonal was used as the secondary antibody.
