ab94284 is a 293T cell transfected lysate in which Human Cytochrome P450 2A6 has been transiently over-expressed using a pCMV-Cytochrome P450 2A6 plasmid. The lysate is provided in 1X Sample Buffer.
Note: For more details about how the transfected lysate was prepared view preparation notes
Function: Exhibits a high coumarin 7-hydroxylase activity. Can act in the hydroxylation of the anti-cancer drugs cyclophosphamide and ifosphamide. Competent in the metabolic activation of aflatoxin B1. Constitutes the major nicotine C-oxidase. Possesses low phenacetin O-deethylation activity.
Tissue specificity: Liver.
Similarity: Belongs to the cytochrome P450 family.
