The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 82 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 61 kDa).
Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml.
The GPIb-V-IX complex functions as the vWF receptor and mediates vWF-dependent platelet adhesion to blood vessels. The adhesion of platelets to injured vascular surfaces in the arterial circulation is a critical initiating event in hemostasis.
CD42d has a predicted molecular weight of 61 kDa but contains a number of potential glycosylation sites (SwissProt). We believe that the observed 81 kDa band correlates to the glycosylated form of the uncleaved protein.
