Mouse monoclonal [Col-1] to Carcino Embryonic Antigen CEA, prediluted
This antibody reacts with a highly glycosylated protein of MW 180 kD, synthesized during development in the fetal gut and several tumors. It does not react with normal colon antigen (NCA). It stains the cell surface and cytoplasm of malignant glands in colorectal adenocarcinomas.
BALB/C mice were injected with extract of colon carcinoma cells.
