Clinical manifestations of Cushing syndrome include facial and trunkal obesity, abdominal striae, muscular weakness, osteoporosis, arterial hypertension, diabetes. Defects in AIP are a cause of prolactin-secreting pituitary adenoma (PSPA) [MIM:600634]; also known as prolactinoma.
