Synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH derived from within residues 150 to the C-terminus of Human GRG (Groucho homologue).
(Peptide available as ab16684.)
Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab16638 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|IP||Use at an assay dependent concentration.|
|WB||Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 32 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 22 kDa).|
1 - 10 : GRG (Groucho homologue) antibody (ab16638) at 1 ug/ml
6 - 10 : GRG (Groucho homologue) peptide (ab16684) at 1 ug/ml
1, 6: Recombinant His-tagged GRG (28ug)
2, 7: Human muscle (20ug)
3, 8: Human heart (20ug)
4, 9: Human embryonic stem cell lysate
5, 10: Mouse embryonic stem cell lysate
Observed band size : 32 kDa (arrow)
Additional bands at : 21 kDa (possible non-specific binding, possible endogenous GRG), 28 kDa (possible non-specific binding, possible endogenous GRG), 35 kDa (possible non-specific binding), 40 kDa (possible non-specific binding), 53 kDa (possible non-specific binding), 75 kDa (possible non-specific binding), 80 kDa (possible non-specific binding).
A major band coresponding to GRG was observed in HEK293 lysates in which His-tagged GR had been overexpressed. Many additional bands were observed which may represent non-specific antibody binding. It is possible that one of these bands represents endogenous GRG.
ab16638 has not yet been referenced specifically in any publications.
