WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 1.5 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 75 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 77 kDa).
An additional band of 37kDa was consistently observed, however this band was not blocked by the immunizing peptide and it is therefore a non-specific signal. We call for caution when used for other assays than Western blot.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Oxidizes the CoA esters of the bile acid intermediates di- and tri-hydroxycholestanoic acids.
Present in all tissues tested: heart, brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas. Most abundant in heart, liver and kidney.
