Additional Notes
The immunostaining appeared to be quite specific and the signals are strong. However, the subnuclear localization observed deviates from results we have obtained using a different antibody. SMARCA6 is known to mark heterochromatic domains - using the abcam antibody, this sub-nuclear domain was barely detectable. There was no major background issue.
Abcam response
We are delighted to hear that this antibody is working in immunocytochemistry on mouse cells, as the antibody had not previously been tested in this application or species.
