Additional Notes
This antibody was able to stain spermatogonia cells in the marmoset testis (confirmed by double staining with another antibody).
However, it seems to stain some unspecific target in the round spermatid population and we see a similar result in other primates (rhesus monkey) testis section.
Abcam response
Thank you for sharing this data with us. ab104854 has not previously been tested in IHC-P or on Marmoset tissue. Therefore, based on this review it seems that the antibody either does not work in IHC-P, or on marmoset, or both, under these conditions. Abcam would welcome feedback from other customers using this antibody.
The reviewer received a reward from Abcam’s Loyalty Program in thanks for submitting this Abreview and for helping the scientific community make better-informed decisions.
