Additional Notes
We tested this antibody on a canine spinal cord, at different conditions. At a 1:100 dilution, with heat retrieval, there was no labelling at pH4 (citrate), while at pH6 (citrate), 8 (EDTA) and 9 (Dako solution) the labelling was increasingly stronger. Unfortunately, the backgrounds stain too, but this seems more correlated to the tissue and the pH buffer than to the antibody. We found the optimal conditions at pH6 for 40 minutes at 95¯C : the labelling intensity is strong and the background noise is scant.
