This Ab gives excellent nuclear/nucleolar immunostaining: the only reason for rating it as "Inconclusive" is because it does not exclusively localise to stem/neuronal progenitor cells in the adult rat brain, in my hands.
In the submitted composite image one clearly sees immunostaining in terminally differentiated neurones of the striatum. All ependymal cells (ECs) are positive: there is also positivity in the progenitor neurones of the lateral ventricle subventricular zone. However, this positivity is seen in neurones throughout the brain and is particularly prominent in Purkinje cells of the cerebellum. The immunostaining pattern of this Ab is similar to that of ab32682
