Additional data
Additional Notes
HEK cells were stably transfected with a chimeric construct composed of the extracellular and transmembrane domain of the human IL2R alpha and the cytoplasmic domain of murine sorCS1c.
Immunohistchemistry:
For permeabilisation 0.5% Triton X-100 or 0.5% Saponin was used, both work
Western blot: only unsatisfying results
Abcam response
Thank you for submitting this very valuable feedback. We are pleased to see this antibody used in a new application with such positive results. The epitope for this antibody has not been mapped, so we are unable to guarantee if it is detecting the human or mouse region of the chimeric protein used in this experiment. At the time of publication of this Abreview, the antibody has only been tested in human.
