There is very little to no noticable background. When adjacent sections are viewed side by side, the Gt anti-GFP antibody greatly increases signal intensity. Typically when viewing on an epifluorescent scope, exposure time is reduced by from ~200 ms to about 20 ms. Also, greater detail is visible in fine processes. It is very simple to use...1 hr and no secondary required.
