No specific labeling was observed in brain regions known to contain GABA-ergic neurons. Several antigen retrieval protocols (or none) did not improve the staining. Decreasing the antibody concentration reduced overall signal/background but did not improve specificity. It may be that the antibody is not compatible with fixed tissue.
