Additional Notes
I think this antibody does not work well for immunoprecipitation.
I performed the experiments with this antibody with different concentration (25uL or 50uL/700uL pre-cleared cell lysate). However, both trials were negative. Instead, I used other antibody from different manufacturer and that worked perfectly. I used the same ChIP kit for all experiments (Millipore ChIP following the company's manual), which means that most likely the antibody specificity was the possible issue form my first 2 failure with your antibody

Thank you for your Abreview!
It is unfortunate that the antibody did not work in your hands for ChIP.
However, we are unable to guaranteee ChIP application as we have not tested ab4070 suitability for IP nor had we had any feedback from our other customers for this high selling antibody.
We are glad to hear that another antibody worked for you, however antibodies sometimes do differ in optimal conditions.
