IF signal was detected in every cell in an asynchronous population of skeletal myoblast cells. Staining was faint in the nucleus but strong in the mitochondria. We concluded that this antibody was not specifically detecting Cyclin E1 because cyclin E should only be expressed at the G1/S border, thus should not be detectable in every cell.
