Could you tell me the difference between ab7119 and ab6878 in immunoblotting examination? My target molecules are from ruminants including bovine. From your data sheet I should use ab7119 rather than ab6878 due to lower background. Please give me your suggestion. |

Thank you for your inquiry. I can confirm that both recognize whole chicken IgY and IgG (H+L). However, ab7119 has been cross adsorbed to remove reactivity with bovine, goat, guinea pig, hamster, horse, human, mouse, rabbit, rat and sheep serum proteins. Meanwhile, ab6878 has not been cross adsorbed. Therefore, I would suggest using ab7119 instead as it will have less cross reactivity with bovine. I hope this information helps.
