Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - Cathelicidin antibody (ab64892)

ab64892 staining a cytospin preparation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells isolated from buffycoat. Cells were left to air dry, fixed with cold acetone (90 secs) and blocked in PBS, 1%FCS and 0.1% saponin for 20 mins. Incubation with ab64892 (1/200) was done for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were washed 2x PBS, incubated with a FITC-labelled secondary antibody, washed in PBS and counterstained with DAPI. ab64892 selectively recognizes polymorphonuclar cells.
Western blot - Cathelicidin antibody (ab64892)

Lane 1 : Anti-Cathelicidin antibody (ab64892) at 1/100 dilution
Lane 2 : Anti-Cathelicidin antibody (ab64892) at 1/100 dilution (preabsorbed with immunising peptide)
Lane 1 : Whole cell lysate prepared from Human neutrophils
Lane 2 : Whole cell lysate prepared from Human neutrophils
Predicted band size : 19 kDa
