Additional Notes
In our hands, the CD34 (ab81289) antibody did not detect any porcine endothelial cells. Using the same protocol, human endothelium was nicely stained. At dilutions from 1:500 - 1:1000 medial smooth muscle cells displayed a weak, unspecific, cytoplasmic signal in both species.
We tested a dilution range from 1:500 to 1:5000 and different types of antigen retrival.
Abcam response
We would like to thank this customer for submitting their AbReview. We have received mixed feedback for this antibody in porcine samples. We therefore cannot recommend this antibody for pig and it is not covered by our guarantee.
The reviewer received a reward from Abcam’s Loyalty Program in thanks for submitting this Abreview and for helping the scientific community make better-informed decisions.
